My time in London was brief and diverse. The first day ended well thanks to luck and perseverance. Nando’s, catchup and Horsham with CT, but no eye appointment due to travel delays. Loved my comfy bed at the Hampton — really, really, really. Good decision.
Second day started fine but ended badly with airbnb host causing me to miss dinner with JH. Next time!
Last day was the best with GJ. A day out walking, talking, eating well, having tea and coffee in cozy places with leather chairs and old wood, bookstore bonding, sharing stories and finding common ground. Still a mystery.
In a few hours I board a plane to the unknown for an intense week at GM. Let’s see how that goes.
